Windstar is great. Last for years and the fibre glass body is reliable even it hits the rocks. You can buy the large size and small sail for various weather. And yes, the winch servo is not a good design as the wire always come out the pulley when the spring lose its function after a while. I met guys who actually modified the winch to long lever and works well too.

I sailed the Windstar for the first time last Sat. Only after a few laps the sheets derailed from the winch Now I'm modifying it for use with a high torque sail arm servo instead...
We sail at Tai Mei Tuk. We have skippers for Yamaha, Seawind, fortune 612 and my Windstar. Normally we do fun race and would lay a 2 to 4 buoy course. Of course you can just freee cruising. Do come and join us if you can.
