Run-in 期間引擎不停加快?(終極篇!!)

Inferno US Sports 引擎終於撻著了 , 但問題接二連三!!!   情如如下:

之前試咗十九幾次失敗(三天時間) ……. 終於….

1)
先把油門servo拉開至一半(冇開控), 其後引擎成功撻著(三十份一成功機會率 ), 由於油門開至一半, 引擎高速轉動….. 於是乎我把油門servo set 返回中位置….. 引擎減速…. 但我見我轉速雖回落但偏高, 於是我把怠速螺絲 anticlockwise, 希望將怠速減慢…… 但好快又死火了 (可能扭得太多)
2)
其後中間試完又試, 引擎又撻著了(又是二十份一成功機會率 ), 今次怠速ok, 聲音係”du du du du du”….. keep check 住温度由40->50-> 60…..80…. 轉速又開始加快!!!…….. confirm油門已關至minimum, 但引擎繼續加快!! 温度直上100!! 輪子快速轉動!!! 因怕温度太高, cut !! (以上撻著至cut 約維持1分鍾)
3)
其後中間試完又試, 引擎又撻著了(又是二十份一成功機會率 ), 今次怠速ok, 聲音係”du du du du du”….. keep check 住温度由40->50-> 60…..80…. 轉速又開始加快!!!…….. 可怕的是油門servo卻被推開!! 引擎繼續加快!! 我把servo油門推至回中位置, servo又被推開!!! Terrible!!! 温度直上110!! 輪子快速轉動!!! 因怕温度太高, cut !! (以上撻著至cut 約維持1分鍾)
4)
太累了!! 放棄!! (time : 0130 hours, 10 July 07)

大師兄, 中師兄們……. 有冇d嘜可以教吓我呀?? 我只想run-in引擎啫…. Why so difficult ???

1) Why引擎不停加快?? 而唔係keep”du du du du du”咁轉 ???
2) Need to open the 搖控 when break in ???
3) Any other suggestion??


pls help me..... I am exhausted.... (start to hate engine !!!)

如果有run-in engine 賣就好啦……. d都願…..

I agree.  Go and bash around with the stock engine.
When it's finally having problems,
you have all the excuses in the world to get a new engine

thats enough for those stock engine....no more run-in is required....

Just to play it...dont waste the time...measure the temp to tune the engine

big bros,

I did it welll successfully last night !! the engine run-in at a stable temp. about 100C !!! now, just finish 3 tanks of fuel........ spend 30 mins per tank

got back home late at 0230 last night.....

I am so happy that I can "control" my engine now.... thanks to the advice and assistane from every big bros.....!!!

I think I need to run-in for another 3 tanks b4 I can tune my car.... right??

I am using torando 25%, will it be too high for break-in and come to this situation??
(I know 16% is best for run-in, but people said that 25% is also ok......)

1) it is all about fuel and air mixture.

this is control by the throttle opening (air) and the top and bottom screw (overall flow of fuel to engine)

The temperature rise as there are combustion inside the engine and it creates 1) power and 2) heat. More cycles of combustion = more more heat heat.....

when the engine temperature is rising, richen the air fuel mixture by adjusting the top screw for supplying more fuel to the engine, providing all other adjustments remain the same. try 1/8  or even 1/4 a turn every time and listen to the tone of the engine. It shd sound slower and slower...temperature shd decrease accordingly.

Nitro is act as the cooling agent for the engine for RC cars....as it doesn't have a radiator like a standard 1:1 car. Also, it act as an lubricant for the internals of the engine. More fuel = lower engine temp if other adjustments remain constant. However, too much fuel = engine stop running as it is too cold so you have to adjust accordingly.

你呢個情況應該先張細油針再放多D(喺著緊engine時)
試試睇吓點啦...............現埸情況千變萬化,依家真系好難講得曬比你聽架

昨晚2nd round 對決1200-0130 hours…… 結果……

1)
大小油針已鬆多了, 但引擎一著都係嘭嘭聲咁去….(今次撻車成功率有3-51, 有進步…..  )
2)
後來我跟說明書上寫將怠速螺絲扭鬆, 將化油器那gap位減少, 目的怠速減慢……結果……係成功的!!! But…….
3)
但到了兩份鐘後, heat sink 的溫度也升至90多度(may rise continuously), 並不是別人說的6-70…!!! 而引擎聲由”du du du” 轉至高頻一點, 好像好急、好尖的……. 最終我怕燒壞引擎, cut !!(以上重試2,3次都是一樣)

就此, 我有d問題問問…..
1)
何解有以上情況?
2)
Run in
及調教GXR28 引擎是否和一般引擎不同? 因說明書上寫明run in期間將怠速螺絲扭鬆去調怠速…..大小油針已鬆多好多了 (大油針 - 4-5 turns off!!)

3)
何解溫度不停上升?? 說明書上寫run in期間可以去到上限120C, ok??
4)
有冇玩過inferno嘅師兄在呀?? leeho888師兄在嗎?

希望大家再幫幫小弟…..

I think the situation now is that the fuel supply is too lean, right? so  ...

Let me know when you wanna try again next time,
I shall come and video tape the fun and the pullstarting

It's like taking a shower,
everyone does it in a different way.
If you want an effective and a "mean" way,
go with the factory settings, can't go wrong  

Just praying that it's not an air leak that's causing a lean mixture.
We don't want sand going into the engine especially during break-in
