charging for a new battery-help

how to charge a new battery: 6 cells x 1.2v GP 3400 or 3700mah

i want to know the charge time for a new battery and

the time period after the 1 st charge. that means after i play the RC. i.e the 2nd charge time period e.g. how many hrs?

mostly you are using ni-mh , normally can charge from 1/4c to 4c
i.e if you 4c to charge 3700mAh, charging time is~ 1/4 hrs,
advice you using 1c  at most, that is 3.7A to charge is preferrable if you arw newbie to charge circuits.
ni-mh do not have memory effect.
