12 sons front ends question.

There are so many 12 sons and their front end looks very similar, CRC, Kyosho, Asso, Yokomo, etc.

Can those front ends be interchanged??

I believe not. There alway are little different so that you must buy the original parts from maker but not other company la.

har,   anyone has some better news?? I thought those Asso/CRC/yokomo has identical mounting screw holes??

Asso and Yokomo may be the same since they are brother companies.  

Asso's current design is anicent but works for many years.  (I think Asso L3 started to use the current design some 10-15 years ago)  Thus many companies just 'copy' this design since it just works!  (ie xray, HB etc)

As for CRC, their front end is a pivot-ball design system, similar to serpent's front end so it is different.  

If the mounting holes align, you can buy the whole front end and swap.

(This is similar in 1/10 touring, they all 'look' the same, but there are some differences, so parts are not inter-changeable)
