Setting of Asso 12R5

Any c-hing can share the following setting experience (Say, the setting in JV):

1) What is the depth of the set screw should be screw into the chassis brace (say, using silver side spring)?
2) What is the position of the shock collar should be place in the shock body? (It will affect the angle between chassis and lower motor plate)

side screw usually very little or no preload.  Especially if you use hard spring like silver....  center spring adjust it so the chassis is flat with rear pod.  If center a little higher than rear pod will give a little more rear grip.  But the car is less "predictable" when the rear end start to loose grip.

Understeering if no tyre water. Btw if u play slow motor (eg.. 1cell +5.5T or 2 cell + 10.5T) there will be no impact to you.

已經解決推頭問題， 原來我其中一邊A臂粒波子上下調轉左, 衣家用番speedmind 頭中尾中完全冇問題.

wanna play S120 with 60a + 5.5T + 2 cell, is that ok? seems nothing to set on 12 son but do i need to set anything? like spring, camber, tow in-out, ride height?

Side sprin is very funny, You can chose useing preload or not, And with preload you will get 2 times hardness  than non-preload

ya...  just personally I don't really like to add lot of preload as this makes the steering too fast, not very stable.  I prefer to change to harder spring if necessary.  Just my 2 cents
