Hi All,
I have a few questions :-
1. is 回壓溫度降 = this item -> http://www.topcad.com.hk/v4/Description/gg/GG2208.php

Thanks

I really cannot see how exhaust cooler can reduce temperature of the engine and make the engine run faster.  Even NovaRossi has not make such a claim.

Exhaust cooler is not the same as pressure chamber.

Exhaust cooler: see this http://www.novarossi.com/content_uk/products/gadgets/index.php

Pressure chamber : see link in my previous post.

3.Pressure chamber

As Pressure Chamber - speed up the action
It also can equalize a pressure coming between tuned pipe and fuel tank. When you open the fuel tank, air pressure will be disappeared. The pressure chamber adjustable needle to regulate the insert amount of gas flow the system and provide a temporary space for storage a air pressure. You can get ready at once after closing the fuel tank.

As Cooler - saving oil
Mount it between the tuned pipe and fuel tank. It can cool down the heat air when the air pass through the cooler so that heat gas will not go into the fuel tank directly. As a result, it can slow down the evaporation of the oil because the fuel tank temperature is decreased.

As Filter - protect your engine
There is a filter plate in the pressure chamber cooler to provide a oil filter function, it prevent impurity fuel enter the engine. You can mount it between the engine and the fuel tank. Mostly used in 1/8 buggy.

Really OMG...

Sorry I don't check posts all the time,
happened to miss this interesting post.  =)

If you have played any larger scale engines .21+,
then you will know what it's used for.

#1 It stabilizes the pressure inside the fuel tank (i.e. regulates fuel pressure).
Have you ever noticed the difference in throttle response (fuel richness) between a full-tank car and a half-tank car?
The pressure chamber helps regulate the air pressure when the tank is full.

#2 For large-scale cars, because the exhaust pipe and fuel tank are not in the same positions,
it is easy for the air pressure(inside fuel tank) to rise/drop during left/right corners.
Routing the back-pressure line helps,
and positioning this pressure chamber at a strategic position helps minimize that pressure difference in left/right turns so the engine runs much much more stable with a stablized fuel pressure (resulting in stabilized air/fuel ratio)

For this reson, you'll see a lot of top buggy drivers route the back-pressure line in strategic ways,
and many of them have a pressure chamber installed along the pressure line.

There is no filter inside the pressure chamber,
so it's not for 隔垃圾 LOL, I laughed so hard when I saw 隔垃圾.
Some people can really be ignorant

I guess for .12 to .15 engines, the pressure difference isn't that big,
so the actual use of the pressure chamber is minimal.
When you've driven .21+, such as a .28 used in Savage for example,
then you'll feel the difference in fuel pressure under left/right turns;
You would want to eliminate that damn difference,
and the pressure chamber is a solution that helps  =)

Cheers,
BigHead

Oh I left out #3, a very crucial #3.

#3 Each time the engine idles (entering corner),
the air pressure within the fuel tank decreases due to throttle lift-off.

When gas is applied again, it takes time for the air pressure to build up --> fuel pressure --> air/fuel ratio issues.
This is why many 1/8 and 1/10 drivers keep up "blipping" the throttle before they exit the corner,
the idea is to maintain the air pressure within the fuel tank.

The pressure chamber helps to maintain the air pressure a little bit if strategically placed.
Where the strategic placement is depends on the layout of your pipe / fueltank,
as well as track layout.

For starters,
it's usually placed in front of the fuel tank,
on the other side of the pipe for a more-balanced overall air pressure.
#3 is often overlooked,
because the top drivers already practice this throttle blipping skill all the time.
Yet, with the pressure chamber, it can make the car handle much smoother in mid-corner,
as sound more realistic, instead of sounding like an idiot blipping 4 times every corner (personally against throttle blipping technique) =)

Most people would be concerned about #3,
since #1 can be solved by not filling the tank full  =P
and #2 only concerns 1/8 or larger scale cars  =)

I don't know,
maybe there are more reasons to use the Pressure Chamber,
although I don't think "cooling" or "filtering garbage" are the true intentions of this product

I need to dig out my physics text book - since when the location of an 'air' chamber will affect pressure.  I think it is the length/diameter of the fuel line that affects pressure, the longer the line, the more pressure drop and smaller diameter, higher pressure?
