塑膠染色.....

Check out these wheels and wing that I dyed black.

Thanks to Brother Mike for ordering these wheels for me...

1) Wash the wheels with dish washing liquid, this will ensure the color attaching to the plastic as deep as it could and evenly.

This is the dye powder I use for the coloring.  I bought this at a stationary story, many other different colors are available.  

Prepare a LARGE pot of water and bring it to a boil.

While the water boils, prepare the plastic with metal wire or anything you can use to get the parts in and out of the water.

De-solve the powder in the water and make sure it's all melted and turn off the heat.

Put in plastic parts and leave it in there for at least 4 hours.  I left the wheels in there overnight to ensure the black is as black as it can get.

The final product!!!

甩色? No way.....

The color is soaked in the plastic and it will should NEVER fade.

I bought the dye powder in Mong Kok,  the stationary store right around the corner of Tong Choi Street and dundas street.

The powder is very cheap if I remember correctly....I bought it a LONG time ago lu...

I just used enough water to cover the plastic parts.....never really measured the amount.
