Serpent 960 - 966

Dear Brothers,
  Is there any brothers upgrade his/her 960 to 966??
  Any testing result one overall performance???

如果你架960係08 OS2, UPGRADE 966就無問題, 如果仲係OS1, 買新車好過.
我自己剛砌好試過, 966幾好砌!!!

If you want to up grade to a complete 966, you need to pay the up grade kit of OS2 & 966 it may be over HK2,800. The 966 kit is excluding any plastic & OS2 parts. Of course, you can use the 966 kit with OS1, then you just pay the 966 kit.

不理會性能，簡單D講， 輪距low,OS1 only 蛇off set ，OS2 = 大眾off set 即是可以同 無限呀 Q嫂呀 羊呀 共用D車呔low

前後輪都要用很多介子頂虛位是否就是OS2呢？

The main point is that the diameter of the front & rear shaft are different between OS1 & OS2, the OS2 is same as other brand such as kyosho, mugen & ..etc, that is a pouplar standard therefore we can use the same standard tire as kyosho & mugen . For OS1, it is the serpent standard, now it is not too many of tire maker provide to serpent OS1 standard. Thatmeans, you can't buy the OS1 tire on KWS soon on later.

I am using OS1 and with Hudy 1/8 set-up systems... so if I buy the new 966, the Hudy set-up kit cannot fit?

you can find the Hudy system using on 966 OS2 is fitter then 960 OS1.

oh.. that is better.. as I just bought that Hudy system for my old 960... and want to buy 966...If it can fit 966.. then no problem..
