I don't think this is a good idea to convert m03 to rear wheel drive, because there is negative caster preset on on the front wheel and o caster on the back of the m03 chasis, so, m03 convert to the rear wheel drive, 0 caster would be at the front and positive caster on the rear, rear wheel m03 would tend to very sensitive on the steering, you can imagine how to drive a very sensitive steering rear wheel drive car, of course you can tune your car to less responsive, but I don't think this should be good idea(Same principle on convert ta03f to rear motor and rear wheel drive, caster is a big problem). Moreover, if rear wheel m03 is a good idea, m04 won't be issued by Tamiya. Anyway, rear wheel m03 is interesting project, but I don't think it would handle better than m04. |
