The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 is a racing machine based on the production SLS AMG, which debuted in September 2009. Its long-nose, bobtail body design features gull-wing doors and a front-mounted 6.2-liter V8 engine. This particular racing car was entered into the 2012 Japan Super Taikyu Series of endurance races by the Petronas Syntium Racing Team. The team impressively took five consecutive wins at the start of the season on its way to claiming the championship title. Tamiya 1:12 RM-01 Mazda 787B No.18 EP #58555
The 1991 Mazda 787B Le Mans racer is the latest body to be offered in the RM-01 kit product line-up. Tamiya created the RM-01 chassis in response to the 1/12 scale racing resurgence around the world. Tamiya FF03 Upgrade Set #84314
This upgrade set is designed to take the performance of the FF-03 chassis to the next level. The newly designed carbon lower deck features a narrow design with the separate mechanism decks positioned on each side to enable a greater roll movement range during cornering. Refined IFS (Inboard Front Suspension) setup has front dampers positioned longitudinally like the TA06 chassis to achieve better weight distribution and the new long tie-rod steering system provides smooth steering feel.
