Tamiya (#58489) 1:10 Avante (2011) EP
In March 1988, Tamiya released an electric R/C 4WD racing buggy called the “Avante” and it has since become a special machine in Tamiya’s R/C history. The machine featured a unique shaft-driven 4WD system which was taken from Tamiya’s first 4WD R/C buggy, the Hotshot. It also featured a highly sophisticated design including a FRP double-deck chassis layout, longitudinal motor & battery positions, and a formula-type body with chassis fairing. It was equipped with innovative components such as a compact gearbox with 3 small planetary gears, a center diff to increase stability, a fully adjustable suspension, and cam-lock wheel caps.The Avante was a distinctive R/C machine which featured an innovative design. After 20 years, some of the Avante’s mechanisms have become standard features on modern R/C cars. The ultimate pure racing buggy returns in 2011.
Tamiya 1:10 M05 Mini ‘94 MonteCarlo W/ESC EP
1964 saw Irishman Paddy Hopkirk drive the Mini Cooper to win the Monte Carlo Rally. In 1994, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the 1964 win, legendary rally driver Timo Makinen participated in the event driving the famous Mini Cooper. Originally released on the M-01 chassis in 1995, This is a re-release on the M-05 chassis.

The 2WD truck Stadium Blitzer which was first released in 1992. The excitement seen in full size stadium truck racing can now be enjoyed with Tamiya’s Stadium Blitzer. Tamiya, with their radio controlled experience, lets you get into this popular racing event with unmatched ease for true r/c excitement. The lightweight, but sturdy ABS resin bathtub type frame/chassis, allows easy access to mechanics for maintenance chores. Front and rear independent suspension has monocoque type lower suspension which are both light in weight and sturdy. The suspension is dampened by heavy duty oil filled shocks at all corners, for the smoothest ride obtainable. The large front tires have triple rib and pin spikes for straight running stability, while the rear tires use a combination of pin spikes and X-patterned shape, for earth kicking traction. The wild aggressive styling of the Stadium Blitzer is produced using a tough and lightweight polycarbonate (lexan).
