Very simple, buy 'gal see dick' (caustic soda) mix gal-see-dick with cold water and put metal track in it. A few minutes and you will have dark colored track. Make sure you use glove when you do this and make sure you rinse it well after. Caustic soda simple oxidize the track in a very short time.
