the above is right....the original gear ratio is too slow....
BTW, the original 28 engine can be modified to be more powerful....but the following problems have to be considered:
1) do u have these cutting skills? Did u have experience in using dremel....
2) do u have any idea about engine modification
3) the durability....yes, we have modified the Kyosho 28 engine...and it surely is faster than the orignal bit la...But we found that the wearness of the piston and cylinder is very serious after modification....the material used for 28 engine is similar to that of kyosho GXR15 engine....the cylinder and piston material is too soft la........Although the modification can make engine running faster, the engine life is shorten unreasonably. Since we are looking for using other engine, we dont care the life of the orignal engine...then do the modification.
Therefore, we dont recomment u to modify it.....Just change the gears and modify the 2speed clutch is good enough for playing
