this is control by the throttle opening (air) and the top and bottom screw (overall flow of fuel to engine)
The temperature rise as there are combustion inside the engine and it creates 1) power and 2) heat. More cycles of combustion = more more heat heat.....
when the engine temperature is rising, richen the air fuel mixture by adjusting the top screw for supplying more fuel to the engine, providing all other adjustments remain the same. try 1/8 or even 1/4 a turn every time and listen to the tone of the engine. It shd sound slower and slower...temperature shd decrease accordingly.
Nitro is act as the cooling agent for the engine for RC cars....as it doesn't have a radiator like a standard 1:1 car. Also, it act as an lubricant for the internals of the engine. More fuel = lower engine temp if other adjustments remain constant. However, too much fuel = engine stop running as it is too cold so you have to adjust accordingly.
