NEWBIE on RC car

hello all~

I am newbie to play RC car, and want to get some 師兄's advice.
Is Tamiya DT02 a good buy? does this chassis has a good upgrade potential?

These days people seems leaning towards the 4WD buggies like DF03 or DB01...  They have more option/replacement parts in compare with the DT and the handling is much better on dirt road and such....  
My personal preference is the HPI E-Firestorm which is a 2WD but since HPI has put a lot of GP cars technology into the E-Firestorm and makes it extremely tough and lightweight.......  
But again, for the best supply on replacement/option parts, go with Tamiya's items.
