need to change metal parts.......or drive carefully
car is heavy and torque.......even u think is a touch.....but may not be a little crash .

I think Tamiya intends to design the car like this. You may consider this mechanical design is similar to a "fuse" in electric circuit so that only this part would be broken after clash. I would say, I you change it to metal, the clashing force will shift to other parts and even break them
