this engine modification is done by machine but not by hand....
If I am right, the modification should be done by manufacturer...
personally, I think JP is great in modification...they cut as little as possible to tune the engine....I prefer simple is beautiful...I dont think those people cutting sharply and making sharp changes in engines are the best....1) they cut too much, loss the first compression inside the engine chamber 2) those engine will eat too much fuel....Kondo is a typical example....they cut very deep in engines....of course, their engine is fast.....but rarely see people using their engines in race...
any improvement in performance after your modification work. based on the scatch on the crankshaft, I guess u have done some modification on the intake in the crankshaft, turbo scoope and shiny surface
BTW, the shiny surface actually has no significant help in peformance but the ground surface will be corroded easily...
