i want to buy BC8 too, but i really hate the printed wording on the shell. I saw some chargers on r/c shops windows that are not properly printed...

Yes, those are copycat product...i tihnk they can only charge NiMH and NiCd

as i know K & S, Xpower and RCpower is the same as e-station, they are OEM product.
also e-station is copy from K & S.

i only know this 4 brand are the same machines

It stand for " original equipment manufacturer " like Yokomo V2 is OEM by Durtex - ICE etc etc .. Furthermore,  Estation is now believed to be manuf by Great China ( 1st batch was made in Korea ) which quality wise ... mmmmmm ...  pls check its origin carefully...

Well, nowaday I think production in mainland is not really a big concern.
Last few month, quite some brother also have a very GOOOOOD experience for production Made in U.S.

Infact .. all kinda electronics do have potential failure due to variety of reasons .. like enduser operate error etc etc ... i cant make any conclusion on such .. but one thing for sure is .. Good quality involve huge amount of investment that small business couldnt afford ...

U r right .. even famous brands like Novak or LRP do have tons of bugs and error on their " NEW " product, all because of their product strategy, enduser as their testing rats .. but on quality wise, like finishing, packing, materials and customer service ( I mean their own not distributor in HK )  u should have no doubt on such ...  

ps.  Thz opinion of my own .. may be i am biasing something, just wanna share my thoughts for discussion and dont mean to offence anyone or anything ..

Dont place me on such table that are too big...  I really admire ur master pieces on EP jet boat fleet .. forum is a good place for crazy ppl like me to share goodies with fans who have common interest ... i am a causal player and only no " Skin Hair " that pretend to be expert ..

Yes .. Br Jp .. with ur lipo fleet .. u may enjoy a whole day EP touring which battery can be charged and prepared days before ur happy day .. this is one of the advantage on those black & silver blicks .. BTW.. charging time for all of ur lipos with 1 single charger is a very time consuming process..

U need almost 1 hr to peak off a 4800 after run it to auto cut and 45 mins + for another 3200 ..  but no worry .. u may charge them days before the event ..

Final thing u need to be aware of.... if ur ESC didnt got any Voltage cut capability.. retreat ur machine once its running slow .. dont dare to drain it dry .. it will certify if u do so ...  Orion bricks are uniquely safe and powerful lipo ever available that brands from China couldnt compare of .. pay a little more and play it safe is the rule for lipoly ....

I agree with you. But always heard from a lot of people this product is OEM of any famous company but the price wise can be far cheaper than the original one. And in fact how much people understand what is OEM, ODM, JDM such terms. Or even they are heard from somebody.
(copy cat is an exception). But certain major electronics device I still trust brand name.
For myself, I understand what's different in between of their product. Not basis the U.S. product. For example Novak is my favourite brand for ESC since 15 years ago till now. Tekin was but no more since couple month ago when I open their latest ESC's case. And even hardware is exactly the same, the performance also can have quite different output. PC's display card are very good example. Also there huge volume of information about all the stuff in RC world at the interent. But seems a lot of people still only measure the product's price other than the performance. I like to share whatever I tried especially new product with my friend even with a guys whoever I don't know. healthy discussion is quite helpful before you choose/buy something suitable yourself.  But discussion base on nothing reference ....

Buddy .. i use my lipos on capable ESC s only.. since i am brushless freak u may say .. ^_^
