from touring car to f1

Agreed that F1 is very attractive, my rc history is 4wd touring -> F104 -> KF01 (nitro F1) -> 1:8 Nitro buggy (off-road nitro F1 in my point of view hehe)

Another option is Kyosho KF01 nitro F1.   Though not necessary faster than brushless motor, but over ...

For me F1 is more fun than touring.  I started from Tamiya 1/12 (lamborghini, 936 etc), Associates 1/12 RC12 2WD, Kyosho 4WD buggies, Touring 4WD, and now onto F1.....  started when I had hair before 70s.... LOL

Recently played both 416s and F1, and found F1 much more difficult.  The 416 was easy to set and fast (a bit boring in comparison, and F1 is exciting but worst than taking care of wife/girlfriend.... very sensitive. . .

But only "really" understanding driving and car setting with F1 2WD......  perhaps now too old... because need 4-eye glasses...

Yes F1 is very sensitive in setting, may be because not much items to set as 4wd car.  I swapped my KF01 rear tire to F104 making F104 a more controllable than before.

Tuning F1 vs 4wd just like calibrating sniper vs machine gun in this sense.
