V8 really not popular in Hong Kong (Aco only).It's popular in Trc.

I agree with you V8 is popular in TRC, if you count the attendance of 1/8 in TRC. Let us see how many V8 will join the coming race...., I also know that V8 is most popular in 2nd hand market....may be 3rd hand.....

I see many V8 in TRC already...

You also have good choice, V8+Picco+ATS, keep going....., but V8 really not popular in Hong Kong, may be in Macau......

THX, 1/8 is not popular in Macau market, I don't know HK 1/8 market, I am novice in 1/8, early time 960 give me not very good feeling, specialy in clucth, 966 seems look like good, but after c, is same clucth design, so I choice V8, he give me easy to drive, and parts no hard to find.
M3, MRX4X and P.8.1 I like too, but parts seems not easy to find.

regarding world championship, this is first time for Shepherd ( 2007 Argentina is brand new car only Patrick and other driver only ), finally 4 cars in 1/2, we are happy with this result,
loss or not one in top 10 no problem, because we are still young !!!

popular or not 唔重要，自已開心就得la...........................

the most important is all the driver try very hard to get best result, same as all the sports
Winner got one, so others are all loser ? No !!!

Spirit of sports not only win and loss.

Of course the truth is Mugen TQ, Kyosho Wins

exactly....RC cars are for fun, and of course also for serious racing.

just feel not right that someone is misleadingly relating this "Young" brand to the virtue and popularity of another well established and popular brand

groundlessly saying "in Hong Kong Shepherd V8 & Serpent 966 are porpular" seems to be a bad way of indirect promotion and misleading novices

理論上serpent 966應該popular 多d，因960可upgrade變966，960由04年尾出，960->960FD->960,07->960,08->966 (唔知有無錯)，多人有960系刊係正常，World Model Cup又有一定人玩。
Shepherd Velox V8係新廠，車系好新，無966那么popular係正常，design唔錯，parts又有，出車%應該多過Motonica, MRX4X (係HK).
M3係好車一架，但代理就....................................

compare one thing just compare on sales qty, what logistic it is ???

then Iphone can not be popular because the sales qty is much much
less than Nokia, Motorola because those two brand was in market
more than 10 year, this is your 邏輯 ? so people can not put Iphone together
with Nokia and motorola this is bad way of promotion

trying to relate V8 to the iphone........are they really comparable? Is V8 as good and innovative as the iphone?

try to look at the annual sales volume of iphone ......and look at the sales volume of V8.......

"Young" and "popular" are not contradictory concepts, a typical case is "young models" can be "popular"

But the Young V8 is really not as popular as the Serpent in HK, sorry.

If sales volume is not the criterion for comparison of popularity, please provide your suggestion.

I have one - "網上被插率", then V8 is very popular, as it's "Young" and has been frequently criticized in HK RC Fora
