21 On road engine can be used in 1/8 Buggy?

Is it possible to put 21 on road engine onto a 1/8 buggy?  What is the performance of the buggy if I do it?  
Can a buggy be suitable to use a turbo engine?  I heard other brothers / RC shoppers no one use turbo engine on  buggy.  Is that true?
