Beginner for Buggy

Want to start playing Buggy, any suggestion??? I don't want to waste money on too low model.....something that worth invest on and good for modify.

Elec. or Nitro?

Tamiya DF-03 probably a good choice for beginner

I think start with Elec.

good choice to start..... also need deeeeeeeeeep pocket to upgrade

You ever thought about smaller scales like 1:18?  The Anderson MB4 is a very good buggy straight out from the box.... it comes with 3 kinds of package, kit version, Almost Ready to Run (ARTR) or Ready to Run (RTR) version... It's not terriablily expensive (around 5xx for a ARTR) and just add a decent ESC and simple 3003 servo and you can fly!!! (original motor is very good already..)  But if you are looking for 1:10, then right now I think the best buy is still the DF03...
