This is real. This picture I saw it in a Tamiya's distributor's web site in PRC...

Besides, this also explained the intendion of  the part in GT01  that is very clearly indicated it's design to work
as a rollcage in a buggy type of vechicle.

With this it seems  to indicates Tamiya will not reissue the SRB/SuperChamp in the near future in it's original form ... and hope ends the rumous of the re-release of SRB ...
