Yeah... I'm thinking of it. However, seems like CRC has been popular at the moment. Is it out of stock now?

The CRC's front end is almost identical to the RC12L4, so you can use the same parts. The 12L4 should be more suitable for the asphalt track in HK. A new Carpet Knife should be coming out soon anyways.

Much thanks for your advice Jas. Would you mind to explain a bit more on the L4 for the asphalt track in HK? I soldemly go to TC although many people have great comments towards the track. I go to PYC more often.

Generally speaking, a T-bar car (such as the RC12L4)  is easier to tune and thus is better suited to run on asphalt (rougher surface), while a "linked" car (such as the Carpet Knife) is better on carpet or ultra-smooth asphalt. CRC also makes a T-bar car called the T-Force. Though I have no doubt that in the right hands and with the right tuning, the CK can performace just as good on asphalt as it is on carpet, and the reverse is ture for a T-bar car. The reason why I wouldn't go for the CK3.2 now is because I expect a new version to coming out soon. The team drivers already have been driving a new prototype.

Very much thanks for your explanation, Jas! I owned a 1/12 rc car very long time ago and now just wanna to pick one to enjoy the characteristic speed nature. I have a bit of difficulty to work with the T-bar and I always have the feeling of T-bar being easy to break. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Anyhow, for the carpet knife, just by recently I know there may be a new version coming! Yet by looking at the CK racing at the 1/12 International game in Italy, I can hardly find out the different between the new version and the existing version. Perhaps you can clarify my doubts! Much thanks!

Whole year last year (i raced every weekend indoor and outdoor with 9 turn motor) i only broke 2 T-bars so i think it's not too bad! I got both CK3.2R and L4 and i find that L4 is a lot easier to setup so i prefer T-bar car more.
If you really scare of breaking T-bar, you can just get a steel T-bar.

the new CK i think the biggest difference is just the rear pod design which allows you to remove motor easily without removing top deck?

Alright, thanks to yellow15. Well.... steel T-bar is really an innovative idea! Looking for to seeing that in the market. Anyhow, thanks for your comments. I would consider these 2 cars with deeper thoughts!
