How to check out the servo is dead or not

My servo for 油門 doesn't response at all last week!

Check out that it is not the problem of receiver.
Any c-hings can tell me that how to check out the servo is dead or not before I dispose it.
Thank in advance!

plug the servo to receiver and test with your control, see it can move back and forward or not
