Velox 09 or 966

Please help me to to choose between the above 1/8s.

I had a 950 in the past and so very tempted to try Velox.

Do 950 tyres fit Velox?

原廠950 係OS1 車, 羊仔係用唔到. 就算966都係用唔到.
我自己兩架車都有, 羊仔好快, 好好好彎, 原裝跑得. 不過一野就....... 小心駕駛
966有好大進步, 好好彎(小一個好),不過要小改.

Is Velox easy to maintain and fix?  Parts are easy to find?

I remember that the 950 was strong but the problem was that I did not realise something was bent and the camber/toe/droop etc was out until I put it on the setuptool.... I spent more time fixing/setting than racing...but that's all history....966 should be better.

If you compare 950 to 966, do you see big improvements?

Is Velox easy to maintain and fix?  Yes  Parts are easy to find? only one RC shop in KWS can find parts

Which shop is Velox 09 available? Want to try try....(as walk around recently, cannot find..)

is 96X  easy to maintain and fix? Parts are easy to find?

966 also easy to maintain and you can find the part at KWS.

No choice, Velox 09....................

Velox is a good car easy to handle, but the spare parts is very very expansive, it will be out form your expectation. You may check the price of the spare parts before your decision making.

The best : MRX-4R ! Spare parts price is not expensive. Performance is excellent, easy to drive & handle.

Evolva M3?

Thanks for your inputs, guys.

Non-sponsored cars ( Evolva and MRX ) are out of the question because I dont want ot pay $200 more each time I play at the track.

I checked today and found that 966 is not yet available, so I will think again, especially the part prices on Velox.

Is Velox really made in Germany and therefore must charge a higher price to cover costs?

其实边度做都唔重要,人地卖得贵就系要比 sponsor 费, 羊毛出自羊身上道理你一定明.

It will be the 3rd time I re-enter 1/8 on-road.

First with a Veteq, gave up in no time as the rear end is impossible to tune.

Tried again with 950, left because of family reasons.

Here I come again!!  Third time lucky.
