Yes, it's RTR come with ESC and brush motor. The brushness system is changed seperately. RTR + Brushless + Lipo battery near 1.1K

I also bought one last week, standard brushed version, the car is very fast, even played with the kit's battery it last quite a long time. I tested it yesterday(raining), the road is very slippy and the tires spins around and make the car rotate very fast (like twister) in the same position, very funny.
But the assembly quality ma...very poor, one shock was half filled, two shocks were empty. Suggest all bros to reassembly the car before playing. Also, the plastic parts are quite lap-sap....need to upgrade to better parts to play better !

I use mini inferno offroad wheels and is much more fun about the same size as 1:10 wheels but offroad. The car now sits higher and is more fun for 爛地.

I reconize that the ground clearance is very low with the original suspension & tires.

I tested it with brushness yesterday too. It realy lost of control, the car is very very fast with quick response. I put a 7.4V 20C 1600mah Lipo on it. The battery supply me 35mins playing.

Look through Yahoo la, I buy it @ HK$575.
Buy from Tao Bao you need to pay extra for delivery, over HK$600 total, also I am not feeling comfortable to buy anything in china web. Not sure if they will send to you after you pay.

配件我估有很多可以用回ae rc18t, 但rc18td 配件都唔易搵
我架18b會去gpm買配件, 但如果肯用gpm d 配件不如一炮過買ae rc18t, 因為gpm d配件都唔平, 買兩三件都夠你買架100%全新有刷版做parts車.
仲有, 一分錢一分貨, 400-500人仔有交易, d臂我估好易斷, 但這一類車一定唔可以啺住玩囉

As 任天九 says, the yahoo version is the brushed version. (and can pick up on the KCR East line - the line from China)

Do any of you know if they got the brushless version selling in Shenzhen?
ie. Lo Wu KCR just over border they have some rc toy shops in the station shopping mall where they sell helicopters etc.

After 2nd look, I think they are pretty much the same (90%) in design.

Btw, any brother tried one of them? And, any brother tried Anderson MB-4 ($1,200 in WAIGX)

My one (second page the green one) always have steering problem, either not smooth or locked into one side. Any bros have the same problem and how to solve it ?

But anyway, this car is very good for speed fun and play time. Standard battery 1100mAH can play 30 minutes. If use 1600mAH, maybe 45 minutes is OK.

No complain for HK$575 la !!

Just to let you all know, I was passing through Shenzhen/Lo Wu and saw that they have a brushed version of the Heng Long 1/18th car.

Could only find 1 shop which had it.

They were asking for RMB550 - brushed version (quality of the wires/motor didnt look good on the outside).
and if you want brushless, then RMB7xx (ie. you buy the brushed version kit and a brushless motor/esc).

This shop also had a lot of Hobbywing ESC/Motors, but the pricing seemed quite expensive.

Maybe just because I am gwai lo i get such a good price (NOT!), so there may be room to bargain.
I did offer RMB550 for brushless version of HL 1/18th car, but they wouldnt bite!

Would appreciate any reviews anyone has of the 3 Brushless cars mentioned in this thread, bought from taobao.

Hi all,

I placed an order to Taobao last Wednesday at 23:30 (pm), right after a chat with seller. The RC car was delivered to my office last Friday at 11:00 (am). Overall a happy shopping experience and it was quite easy indeed.

The control is good and the handling is fine. I played it at the podium downstairs. The car is REAL FAST!!!

However, the suspension joint is BROKEN!!

Hello Jacky,

I've just bought a few RC-18T option parts for my china-made truggy, from rcmart. It's easy:
1. Add the parts to cart, and then check out when you're finished
2. Call the HK hotline (at the upper right hand side of the website), tell them with your order number and make an appointment for pick up.
3. Go to Kwun Tong and collect your goods

2 points to note:
i. Pick-up time is 10:00 - 17:00 (except for 13:00 - 14:00 which is their lunch time)
ii. It's purely an office, not showing any of the other goods

你上網訂完之後,你可以用 Pay pay 過數, 但要收charge 就可以郵寄去屋企,當然會貴好多~ (多~$100 郵寄+paypay) ,最好訂完之後第2日打電話預先約定時間上去取.
如果是 re-store item,多數無貨有可能吾返賃,所以如果有你需要parts,最好訂左先.
