Suppose you finally can make it run and you go to any of the 2 indoor tracks, you will try a few packs of battery and you will go home and forget modifying it. Forgive me to tell you the reason: because you will understand that you are now wasting time.
Some possible reasons for me to have commented that way:
1. No bearings are used for the F & R diff and the centre differential.
2. Centre shaft is not "One piece" and that will swing.
3. You abused the FRP and that will lead to too much clearance that makes the car difficult to control.
4. Nothing is based on a currently running car and you didn't do any geometry calculation and thus you wouldn't know how to make it run fast.
5. The speed control is still too big and you probably are not using a high grade 2.4 receiver. I have tried nearly all mini size FM receivers and none can allow any mini-z to run fast.
6. the centre diff is a burden instead of a blessing, trust me.
Any of the above makes your car run more slowly than a well set MR02, not to mention the AWD. (Except if you run it at home for fun and not competing with anybody.)
These are what deadmatch misunderstood and I would like to clarify:
2. A fixed shaft like this will not be balanced and that will "SWING" (not string)
3. FRP or even C-FRP are not suitable for making "ALL" parts of a car. You should choose the most suitable material for different parts. (Some may be plastics, some metal and others C-FRP.)
4. I did not mean you should keep any parts from the market but without any running car, you can't know how fast your DIY is because there is no comparison.
5. I have no confidence in that ESC and the bigger problem is it makes you use a receiver and I haven't found anything on the market trustworthy except the 2.4G spectrum. Risk your money if you don't trust me.
6. A centre differential is useful on a real car but so far no one has found it useful on a 1/10 (either electric or nitro). You should be able to imagine how useless it will become when the scale is further reduced to 1/27.
I give up convincing you to stop but one day, one day you will understand why I'm saying all these here. Continue with your attempt then. Think of working only after you finish your public exam.
