Turn a truck to a buggy

I am interested in RC10B4 or a Losi XXX-CR or Losi XXX-BK2, but I found there are more used trucks available.  

I want to know, to turn a RC10T4 to a RC10B4 or a XXX-T to XXX-BK2 is it just change the front tire and the body?

The A-arm length is the same?

correct me if I am wrong:

buggy: faster, better turning response, but more jumpy

truggy: stabler, but not as responsive

So, DF03 or DB01 would be similar size as buggy?
