Use the oven, sacrifice the bearing with the shield. Put the new bearings in the freezer. Set the oven for 350-400 and let it heat up for about 10-15 minutes. Take it out with an oven mit and lightly tap the case on a block of soft wood. They should fall out. Meanwhile the new bearings should be almost frozen now in the freezer. They will fall into the case with it being hot and the new bearings cold. let it sit and get to room temperature.
Yes, you may hammer it out from the crankcase. However, there's a high risk of damaging a new bearing while hammer it into the crankcase.作者: billlkyy 時間: 2008-4-18 02:52
