標題: 翻新 Super Shot Diary
Just starting my new restoration project....  A 1985 Super Shot..... I got this piece via Yahoo Hong Kong at a "ok" price....  (Not a real good deal but reasonable)...  After received, the buggy has some wear and tear but every seems to be intact and all necessary parts are there.
The body is unpainted, original stickers comes with it so body isn't a problem.

So I disassembled it last night and found the following problem:

1) one of the rear shocks shalf bent.  Not sure where I can find a replacement.
2) one of the three bumper screws crack.  but should be able to hold without a problem.
3) one of the front steering cup has a "whitening".  Perhaps from hard impact but not to a point that break it.

Anyway, it's in bits and pieces now as you can see.  Will keep everyone updated for every move and process.

If you have any tips for restoring a Super Shot, please shout it out....  Thanks guys and enjoy the photos.....

Someday down the road I'll start a album.......... but this road seems looooooooooonnnnnnnggggggggggggggggg way to go...

This buggy is going to target your Hotshot man... But in terms of the VZ... I have my doubt if it still works....

Buy a re-release hotshot and make it into a supershot la, then it can be a runner.

But this supershot is nice

Day 1 (11th June, 2007)

First thing first, after disassembled the buggy, of course you need the original instruction book in order to put it back together. Most of the Tamiya Manuals can be found in Tamiya Club (www.tamiyaclub.com) and it is not a hard process. Just make sure you do it at your work so that you can save ink and paper.......

I have two, one is change from HotShot to SuperShot, 2nd one is this one.

Yes, I walk around Large stationery store, 無X良品 to find those suitable boxes for my cars.

Most of my RC cars are dis-assembled like this and hided in my store room. Otherwise, my wife will find I have so many RC cars. Hahaah

I only have 2-3 for display in my home.
