標題: 究竟1/8 Buggy好定 Short Course好?
見近排好多師兄玩1/8 Buggy同Short Course令我有D心癢

1/8 Buggy 好似行兩排電而Short Course行一排電，1/8 Buggy咪快好多? Short Course 會唔會好慢?

操控性又如何?

越野入門應該選那一款?

Majority buggies run with single battery.

越野入門Buggy 易上手D......SC難揸D.....不過 SC耐撞D又象真D......多人玩一齊玩時好feel好多.......所以一開始我揀左SC......

我本身玩左SC 先, 之後先入手1/8 BUGGY, 兩部車差唔多大細, 不過BUGGY 重好多但同時POWER都大好多 (2s vs 4s)

操控上我覺得BUGGY 比較靈活, 易控制, short course 有佢既吸引之處, 到最尾都係睇下你自已中意咩車, 一齊玩果D 車友又玩咩車多?

Yeah ..  peer is important .. if all your friends play SCT, and you play Buggy, 好似吾同班咁...

By the way, 1/8 buggy is much much more durable then SCT, but in general SCT is slower, and can't jump that high, plus the huge body and bumpers to protect the chassis ..  but SCT body shell is much more expensive then buggy body!

SCT can be as fast/faster, say a Traxxas Slash with 3s will be faster then most 1/8 buggy with 4s ..  but not as controllable .. if you have a Summit already (from your profile pic) Can try try Buggy!

邊度玩都係一個考慮問題。
如果去遠地方玩，又無電源可以叉電，你玩1:8 buggy，每次2s x 2, 玩五轉，十排電好很重..

可以短過可以耐好多, 是乎你摩打同gearing , 我部8仔行2100KV 4S 16T/44T 我覺得都玩好耐, 耐過我SC

buggy係邊方面既構造使佢跑得快都比較穩定又好揸？尾翼？輪距？

In general yes ... since the 1/8 buggy motor usually draw less power then SCT. 1/8 buggy is app. 3.5kg, 1/10 SCT is app. 2.5kg-3kg.
Again, many people run3s, 4s, even 6s in SCT (USA style) my Turnigy SCT, (lets just talk about 4wd) I run a 2000kv motor, with a light small 3000mah 3s lipo, I got probably 40-50min run time .. (not very fast) and for my Losi, when I run it with 5200 tenshock, even a 5000mah lipo can last only ~10 min ... once I switch to 4500kv, then back to ~ 15min or so .. Same as 1/8 ..
Again, majority 1/8 is running single Pack, but I guess it is more easy and cheaper plus much more selection to buy 2s lipo in HK ... 4s, 5s, or 6s are not that popular, also, popular buggies in HK, Team C and Serpent 811, both run dual pack.

Popular 1/8 ebuggy, Losi, Associated, Mugen, Kyosho, Tekno, HPI, Xray, Hong Nor, Hobao etc, are running single pack lipo.

I like single pack, it is more convenience, much much shorter charging time and storage time .. and less chance to pair up "wrong" batteries ..

I actually run 6s most the time (I dont race), match with low kv motor, ~ 1400kv - 1550kv, so a 3300mah 6s pack runs as long as 5000mah 4s.
