Not every brushless ESC can work with brushed motor.
Traxxas VXL-3S is one of those brushless ESC which can work with brushed motor.

If so, how to connect the wire from the ESC to brused motor? There were 3 color wire from Traxxas VXL-3s (blue/white/yellow).

ESC A terminal to motor +ve, C terminal to -ve, B terminal leave unconnected.
