"The Grayseal conversion kit,"
receiving hot remarks from R/C enthues all over the world,
is now finally launched.The conversion kit is for AE B44 and B44.1 to build the unique 4WD buggy "Grayseal."The light weight and high stiffness chassis plate, the bullet proof shock towers, and the exclusively desighned cool lexan body realize the never-seen original style 4WD buggy.


The kit includes:
A main chassis, a battery bar, front and rear shock tower, front and rear upper deck, servo mounts, a lexan body, an under tray, and screws.


The items you need to complete the conversion (not included on the kit)
・a base car: AE b44 or B44.1 (B44.2 is not supported)
・a rod and ends to make about 44mm long servo linkage.
・a low-profile servo
・a shorty Lipo battery shorter than 95mm

Wow .. that is awesome, stunning idea ..

I always want to maximize the usage for those shorty battery, they are in the 4000-4500mah, and 40-70c .. more then enough for any 1/10 buggy, I have them for my 22 and 4.1 lovely!

I wish this idea can move on to 1/8 buggy/Truggy, either stack 2 shorty(~ 450g) + servo one side (~ 500 g) then motor + esc + receiver one side ~ 500g as well to make it perfect balance and light weight, (3kg for buggy) or make 2 shorty pack lay flat .. ^_^   Even 1/8 on road!

conversion kit double what I got my 2nd hand b44.1 for but looks sooo good and uses shorty

B44
doesn't have the cam mount motor mount. The motor mount in the b44 is a pain in the ass. the chassis has slots for the old school non lipo batteries. chassis is wider in the front than the b44.1 and body selection is limited. B44 has V1 shocks and has plastic rear hubs.

B44.1
Has aluminum 0 degree hubs, has cam motor mounting system, chassis loses the slots and gets more narrow towards the front of the car. Shocks get upgraded to V2 shocks upper plate is different makes it easier to mount receiver on the passenger side of the car for antenna placement.

b44.2
Chassis gets 3mm more narrow then b44.1 and 8mm longer. Gets new set of lipo trays with quick release system. rear axles get upgraded to 12mm hex drive. Shocks gets upgraded to Big Bores, spur gear gets a plastic cover, clutch gets upgraded to VTS slipper 3 clutch pads vs the conventional AE 2 clutch plates.

if you are buying to convert, then, going from the excerpt description, I would go for the B44.1 myself. Reasons: V2 shocks (money in your pocket right there) and (apparently) more user friendly motor mount. Cannot comment on benefit of the 0 degree hubs though. Go go go! Sooner to buy sooner to enjoy! :devil:

edit: forgot to add, for conversion, B44.2 not supported. I read somewhere it's to do with the motor mount/slipper area, although some thread mentioned that you can make it work if you used B44.2's arms and legs but for the motor/slipper you must use B44.1's instead. Note, no solid ref. or xp so take it with a pinch of salt.

二部我都有 B44.2最大分別拉長8mm同肥油壓 理論上定了多些 肥油壓造工完美Ass强項
新款限滑分別不大
每款Asso最超值跟鈦推桿 硬波子 售價合理
最老套沒有一部越野有充足零件
