Organizer in HK, Wai Go, should announce race rule earlier for fairness to ALL drivers.
2010, HK drivers did not know the change to sponge tyres until very late.
2011, HK drivers did not know that Gyros are allowed until race started.
Both incidents put HK drivers in a disavantage position.
It is important in not changing rules drastically between qualifying rounds and grand final.
HK drivers already in disavantage position since HK don't have indoor carpet tracks. Whereas our Japan friends have experience with both all year round as there are more tracks in Japan.
So highly recommend for Wai Go to announce rules earlier for the grand final.
We don't understand why Wai Go is always so late, and secretive, about final race rules. In comparison, Japan F1RCGP rules and track location information are available much earlier. It's seems this is either laziness or creating business for following to sell more "speical" items, like gyro effect this year ( ohhh no we must try gyro now....).
1）F1 GP class - 17.5T, 开Turbo
2）F1 Asia class - Speed Energy 21.5T, 开 Turbo （这个项目日本是没有的）
3）F1 Scale class - 21.5T, ESC 要 blinky mode
4）F1 class - 跑白皮 （上海后来因为无人有Mabuchi白皮，这个项目cancel)
看来香港过去几个月的F1比赛同F1RCGP没什麽分别啊！至系多了Asia同Scale
至于比赛規則可以看看F1RCGP个official webiste, http://www2.odn.ne.jp/~cai36980/F1RCGP/rule.html, 6-1 是 F1 GP class, 6-2 是 F1 class, 6-3 是 F1 Scale class。 雖然写日文，Goggle translate 一下ok啦。上海站就系跟呢个rule去比的，没有多没有小。关于track layout, 我地之前以为可以自己定，后来Hideo同我地講跟网上的layout, 至于Hideo什麽时后放上网我就吾知啦！我都系多口講两句口者， 希望呢D资料对你地有用啦！当然主办方是Waigo,最終跑什麽还是等Waigo確認了。 不过印像中，上年香港站的F1RCGP的規則都查吾多系口甘。作者: kevin-ysl 時間: 2012-7-10 09:09 回復 andylee 的帖子
