Is it a good choice for M car? Must be expensive I guess....

I had ask a model shop to help me to order this kit (the first version) but the shop keeper said that Kyosho dealer wouldn't import it because at least one box (12 to 20 kits) should be ordered from the factory.

Kyosho EP RC car, forget it even it is a very good RC car. very very poor spare parts support in HK and we do know the reasons why. better buy the ABC M car.

Curious, why said so ? Kyosho R246 share the same spare parts of ABC Gambado because they are actually the same except the Graphite parts.

In fact, most of the spare parts of Kyosho kits (even the kit is not available in HK) can be ordered through local RC model shop. Most people think that their support is not good because they don't have long-term relationship with model shop and don't konw how to order Kyosho spare parts.

OIC, maybe Kyosho didn't pay much attention in this tiny market size of HK RC model.

我们玩RC,parts的損耗是在所难免，若每次更玩零件要訂回來快的话十天八天耐的话可能數十天，這橡的零件支援誰可接受？所以充足零件支援的RC車，飛機，船會特别多人玩因零件損耗了也不用花上太多時間去訂回来。只要去一去RC店便馬上可以補回。省回很多时間

In my own experience, usually the parts I ordered would be delivered to the hobby shop a few days later by the Kyosho dealer.
I just want to say that no shop would keep stock of all spare parts for you. Particularly the kits are not popular.

咁其實樓主問的京商版Gambado是沒有這個問題，因為快捷既spare part 都幾齊。

Yes, just want to get more info on this latest product if a better choice than original ABC or Tamiya M serious. A bit bored about Tamiya's EP plastic centric product lines just it somehow offering more retail channels on parts than others. And also glad to hear some side tracked opinions.

The main issue on purchasing this kyosho r246 version of gambado already pointed out from u. That is local store not keen on order this model. All we can do is order online. I am also consider to purchase this r246 as well, the best price I can find in Japan store is around hkd1200-1300 with shipping. If u are not care about the Honda type reality body shell, I still think this r246 is also a good choice since it comes with the graphite chassis.
