After sprayed this shell, I really understand how difficult to do pattern on the shell....

I have to block half of the shell to spray my first colour, but duing the process, I already felt it was too difficult to do pattern, therefore I only can do was to spray two colour, that is.

You are right because I cannot do any pattern....

good try la!!
anyway, as you know the actual painting process is not long, but the masking process is...

so what i usually do is just to mask the edge of where one color meets another, then for the rest of the big area that you need to mask off, use newspaper instead....simply stick the newspaper on top of the masking tape

perhaps you already know about this, if not, you might try this next time.......it will save you heaps of time.

one problem on this pattern is...U have a total different color from 2 facing direction...
I really worry u might mess up with other similar car...
if ur car go from left to right, this is a orange car
if ur car go from right to left, this is a white car
how interesting..
