YES ar, no time to build.. but now i will start law. just buy all components for ESC, MIXER, BOW thruster, copper propeller.. etc. haha. wish can complete it before chineses new year la.

After the glassfibre hull build up and no continue long time, now start up again.. step 1 : prepare gear and rudder part.. Oh bb cry... need stop and continue next week..

Ei ya.... yesterday night i add too much thinner to the "Filler" and not enough hardener , tonight come back...... WOW........... long time no see the terrible thing.... All filler have "CRACK" ,...........
........... clean it 3 hrs................

Update progress... very very slow, i strengthen a lot about water prevention step
Epoxy (Jelly) + Epoxy (hard) + Filler + Epoxy (Jelly) + Star Star Putty + Base coating.....

i original have a small tug, but sell yesterday law.
And agree ar, test water line and water eating volume very important.

Tonight i will install BOW Thruster, and saturday cutting hull and spray base coating, maybe sunday or next week install electrical circuit, i think can test the hull in christmas and the superstructure may complete before CNY

Yes, and most difficult is i only buy 30 % of their product, hull ,make by myself, electrical self searc from market , and metal parts i change a lot, original not enough strong.

You also fixed Modelslipway before ar? (sometimes i think made by myself more easy than buy this) But most difficult model is England producer "Speedline" it is the most beautiful RC boat model in the world, but no instruction sheet, no electrical diagram, no step, and very very expensive.

Yes, have gear box, This motor i buy from England, but HK also easy to find,
I calculate the ship size and use scale motor and gear box with BB500 and gear,
U can find some 540 motor in HK also good, cos Tug boat not use too high speed motor, but sure not use 2XX motor, sure burn!

about 50% parts buy (superstructure and some decoration), hull self made and electronics parts in HK / England.
But buy from England , my experience is the england person not want to sell and not polite, and the delivery charge very expensive, 10kg HK$950... hahaha
But interesting is i can self made parts and use some their drawing and decoration, building time need half to one year.. quite happy ga
