There is any way to raise the cut-off limit? I've lent my SC10 4x4 for my friend for race and got the same result as you.......................

Btw have u tried removing the overtray?

其實有冇師兄成功用到此ESC呢？是我不識set定係隻esc太先進呢？今天我用原廠mode 12齒反覆試了2排Team SE 6200mah 60C lipo 電，凍motor&esc行了6-7分鐘左右就慢了下來，起初我以為冇電，經check過之後還有7.98v，等了大約5分鐘又完全正常。連續2-3次之後本人覺得此esc的過熱保護實在太有問題了。希望各位師兄比D意見及分享一下心得。thx

11T我都有呀！算巴啦，我諗我都係放棄它轉用我的最愛SP GT 2.0 PRO 好過。因為我試了用係Losi Ten Scte 到都冇事。motor係Novak 550 5.5t 用13T非常暢順仲可以行成10鐘以上。

呢 D 咁高檔美國電變邊有咁差架 .... 我的幾百蚊隻好盈都唔會咁既情況啦 ~~~ 係咪樓主唔識 set 呀 ?樓主可否分享下電變 setting 好似 timing 、Brake Frequency、Drive Frequency 咁呀? Frequency set 得高電變都會比較易過熱，同埋 sc 車本身重唔適合用高 timing 谷快架車架 !

timing level 0 brake frequency2.25khz drive frequency13.8khz 這是原廠setting，請指教。

SP GT 2.0 Pro is 1:10 touring ESC....

You should use some normal offroad esc like RX8, MMM, even MMP...Hobbywing shortcourse motor should also be better than SP GT 2.0 pro.

Ben can u try drag brake 0 / throttle curve linear / reverse on / break frequency 7, I'm not in HK can't give a try yet.......................

Maybe can also try 15T, bcos being under geared can increase esc temps, over gearing increases motor temps, in general..

我覺得可能NOVAK ESC太先進。吾SET吾用得，因為我剛SET完發覺多左LED着。完先3個LED着。SET完之後有4個LED着。師兄你看是不是。THX

Our team testing experience:

1. SCTE:

a) LRP SXX TC SPEC V2+LRP X12L 5.5T motor (HKD$23XX):

with 15T pinion, very fast, but ESC overheat cut-off after 3min. Changed to 12T pinion, the problem happens at 4-5 minutes with harder driving.

b) LRP SXX TC SPEC V2+SP Silver Arrow V2 8.5T motor (HKD$18XX):

works fine with 14/15T pinions, but a bit slow for me

c) HW 150A 1/8 sensored+LRP X12L 5.5T motor (HKD$16XX):

with 13T pinion, has BEC problem when apply hard throttle, can't fixed even added receiver capacitors, problem solved by adding a tiny IP 220mAh LiFe Rx batt; this match is very stable and quick. If use Sanwa 2.4G receivers, no BEC problem so no receiver battery is needed

d) Tekin RX8 + Tekin SC4x 4.5T motor (HKD$24XX):

with 13T pinion, this match is very fast, but the motor is 85 deg after 10min run, normally takes more than 30min to cool down. The motor is killled after 3 "10min run>20min rest" cycles

e) Tekin RX8 + Tenshock SC401 (HKD$19XX):

with 13T pinion, the power is quite high, the battery drain is fast too; but the lower end control is a bit poor because no sensor, can't do 某位高人講"比油 Full 雞就Full 雞, 半油就半油”果種效果

f) Tekin RX8 + LRP X12L 5.5T (HKD$24XX):

with 13T pinion, performance quite good but I myself take it a bit under powered.

g) HW SC8 + SC401 (HKD$10XX):

Fair performance but motor a bit hot with 13T pinion. Again control is problem without sensor.

h) Tekin RX8 + Tekin SC4x 5.5T (HKD$24XX):

Quite good and stable match using 13T pinion.

2) DESC410R

a)SP Sliver Arrow V2 + Sliver Arrow V2 5.5T motor (HKD$9XX)

with 12-14T pinions, this match is quite good, but like HW 150A, this ESC doesn’t work good with Futaba receivers, need a receiver batt. Tried a gas car 降壓BEC direct draw power from main batt to receiver but still has BEC problem.

b)
SP GT 2.0 PRO + Silver Arrow V2 5.5T motor (HKD$13XX)

With 14T pinion, tried turbo timing program, the system cut-down at 6 minutes but runs quite good. Then tried 12/13T pinions with more conservative ESC settings, now still can run 8-9minutes with IP 5400mAh 60C batt.

c)
Novak Hovac + Novak Ballistic 4.5T(HKD$16XX):

The system simply not work before touching ground, still waiting for reply from dealer.

3) Nexx 10

a)
SP Sliver Arrow V2 + Sliver Arrow V2 5.5T motor (HKD$9XX)

With 13T pinion, my friend enjoys this economic combo very much with quite

fast speed. He uses Sanwa radio so no BEC problems.

4) SC10 4X4

a)
SP Sliver Arrow V2 + Sliver Arrow V2 5.5T motor (HKD$9XX)

With 12T pinion and Chinese 2.4 receiver, runs good without BEC problem.

ALL THE ABOVE SITUATION WE RUN WITHOUT MOTOR FAN FOR FAIR CONTROL TEST

其實到現在為止有冇師兄成功set到及用到NOVAK HAVOC PRO呢隻ESC在MX CLUB行到10分鐘而又冇慢及CUTOUT呢？

1020 MX CLUB 測試篇。今天經過一連串測試証實此Novak Hovac Pro#3119不可以放在AE SC10 4x4上。因為過熱問題只可以行走3-5分鐘就慢下來。已加風扇及冇裝overtray都會過熱。本人應為此esc應該安裝在SC10 2wd上應該冇以上問題。還有最後一提此esc可能過熱係統太敏感。
