Hi, new to this forum. Crazy about 1.9 scaler, finally bought one.

Obssessed about the car, went to RCMART next day after puchasing the SCX10, and bought some parts:

The high clearance lower link:

I don't know why I do this to a 1.9 scaler, but I want to use bigger wheels/tires

But the wheels are too big for the body so I have to cut the body to fit the tires(and take off the wheel arc), as well as some bumper must be cut

and I went to KWS to get the upper links, product from TOPCAD, have to add some spacers and cut the original screws to fix this on the SCX10:

the new setting, I moved the battery from rear to front to add weight to the front for better crawling ability:

And I accidentally bought a set of hop up front parts:

now the steering is even more precise and fast, but the servo showing its limit.....

But I have another problem, the front wheels still scratch the body a bit, but I don't want to cut the body anymore, and I don't want to use extender to expand the wheel outwards.....

and I find that the stroke of the suspension is not long enough to make the 4 wheels touching the ground:

yes, at KWS, there`are many choices, some said traxxas big bore is ok for scx10, but travel is not as long as this one

測試後, 發現車身傾斜(左側), 可能扭力歪曲(torque twist)

網路上大量解決辦法, 其中有更改motor位置由車身底盤左前移動到右前, (完全唔駛鑽鋸切，全部完裝件調位就得，不過極花時間......) 據說能解決扭力歪曲(torque twist)現象

懸掛裝置設定作出更改:嘗試前shock變快軟, 後面快硬, 更改後車身輕微地前傾, 車頭重心降低, 車尾快硬能支撐平衡車身:

u may consider 4 link system, though I don't know where to find the parts in HK.

3 racing shaft no stock everywhere, even topcad

btw, if you are not going to Mod the car, no need to change the shaft, my friend always abuses his stock SCX10, still running very good.

Hot racing stuff are more expansive than other local brands, but hot racing parts are usually better made compare to other local brands

Changing the Junfac Drive shaft:

my broken SCX10, idled for almost 1 month.

the front and rear shaft are totally broke.

So I ordered a set of Junfac, time to get the best stuff

(mainly becasue 3 racing and topcad are both out of stock

Excellent built quality:

you can see the set is for stock SCX10, one shaft is short and one is a bit longer......

it won't fit my heavily mod SCX10....I have 120mm shocks, extended wheelbase by longer link rods...... the set of shaft is too short for my mod SCX10.....

so I have to turn back and use stock shocks and link rods

The junfac 's ball joints have limited usable angle, they are not designed for 36 degrees bent, so I can't use 120mm shock if I choose to use junfac shafts.(when using 120mm shocks, the bent angle of ball joints will be almost 45 degrees)

BTW, I change a Hot racing alu spur gear after an accident which killed the orginal plastic spur gear, excellent quality parts from hot racing
