Yea, you can use the wooden blade but u hv to make sure the head speed is below 2500 rpm, but I won't take the risk though, now a carbon / fibraglass blade is not expansive that much less cost than the total loss of a heli. Yea, you can adjust the head speed as you like, say not to exceed 2500rpm, but 250 is not suitable for beginners ,it is more unstable and tricky in setting up especially on the tail.
