標題: Speed Passion 2.0 firmware up-grade問題
請問如果up-grade Speed Passion 2.0Pro電變個Firmware係咪需要買嗰個LCD Professional Program Card先可以駁落電腦到？
另外好似聽有D師兄話用Hobby-Wing嗰個LCD Professional Program Card都可以一樣做到，唔知KWS有冇得賣和大約幾錢？

請問點樣為之stock motor mode 呢?
因我已upgrade了 ver1.61 firmware, 用11.5r motor,
但都開唔到led card 上11-15 的choice...
要用stock esc or stock motor....?

you will need the LCD programmer to update the firmware on the ESC.

in the computer, you can pick which firmware to upload onto the ESC.
eg: 422Stock or 205Mod etc...
If you pick 422Stock, you can use functions from 12 to 15. (boost, turbo, delay etc...)
If you pick 205Mod, you can only use the functions from 1 to 11.
422Stock is for motors > or = 10.5R (ie 11.5, 13.5)
205Mod is for motors < 10.5R (ie 8.5, 5.5)

some races only allow you to use a fixed turn of motor (stock racing). in hong kong, stock motor = 11.5R. so in order to be faster in these races, some people wants boost and turbo.
so, if you run mod racing, then there is no need to use boost and turbo. just use the fastest motor you can handle.

i agree, its almost like cheating... but this is all about business as well. company A always wants to be faster than company B so people will buy more of A's products.
i find it more fun to have a group of friends racing at around the same speed. this way, i can improve my skills faster.
if you dont race, just buy whatever you like and dont use the 'turbo' feature, since the turbo feature creates more heat on esc and motor and use more battery as well.
