Dear Ching(s), I’m beginner in RC & planned to buy a new set of TB-03.

if budget for whole set around 3k, (Max. 3.5k), which set of ESC + motor do u recommend? (hobbywings - 35A + 13.5T Brushless is a good choice?)

And what combinations of component u recommend ar?

The following can be included?
1) TB-03 Chassis;
2) Brushless motor + ESC;
3) Control (AM or FM?) + Receiver+ Servo (3003 ok?);
4) Charger;
5) Battery;
6) Tymiya Anti-roll Bar set (how much?);
7) Tymiya Spring Set (4 color);

The following can be included?
1)       TB-03 Chassis;  $7XX
2)       Brushless motor + ESC; $8XX (Hobbywing 120A sesnored + Team Power 4000kv (8.5T) morot)
3)       Control (AM or FM?) + Receiver+ Servo (3003 ok?); Buy Sanwa 2.4G la, $1100 / set
4)       Charger; $5XX multi-charger
5)       Battery; $300 Li-Po
6)       Tymiya Anti-roll Bar set (how much?); $1XX / set
7)       Tymiya Spring Set (4 color); $320 (Tamiya complete damper set), $160 (3 Racing)

$3800 around la. Although over ur budget little bit, but u dont have to upgrade until u get used to the speed of the car.

I have a TB-03 with above modification and setting, with all carbon reinforce parts on damper plate and main body. I want to sell it. u can PM me also.

for no.2, the price $8XX come with sensor or not?
for no.3, the Sanwa 2.4G come with servo or not?

have u buy more ball bearings for the steering joints? essential?

if I want to save a little bit, which part is comparatively non-essential?
e.g. buy a cheaper control? or slower motor set?

both of them can keep using even u change ur car
but if i were u, i will choose a cheaper control
if u won't play in track, a FM controller set is OK for u

a better ESC is very important for u to upgrade ur motor without buying a new ESC......

then what is the difference between AM & FM Control, coz I already have a Futaba AM Control (10yrs old, extremely seldom use).

AM control will jam when u try to set up ur car @ home
even u turn the controller on, and then turn on the car
the car still have chance to being jamed by other waves (such as radio wave)
FM (usually PPM) is more better than AM one
