coreless i also don't know how to explain......but as i know it no need to change the brush like other brush motor and the motor life is more longer than other brush motor too...and it just used normal ESC..(no need brushless ESC)

strange, so it's kind of between normal brushed motors and BL's, ha~

i've seen people using coreless motor on mini-z on a jap site.

so do u have any coreless?

I didn't used before the coreless motor....but it is the fastest motor in 180 size motor category.....(didn't include brushless motor)

castle creation(mamba) and tekin rage that shown on the pic is 180 size....
I have one KV8000 brushless motor.....the size just same with 180 size

i had a set of mamba 5400kv before, but sold with my miniquake already.

i thought it's some kind of 2xx size, haha~

when will they come up with even smaller BLs~ maybe we can fit them in minis

sorry,I'm wrong already...I just go to measure the brushless motor and is just really like you said is 280 size...

because it just too small like 180 size...

I hope they will come out brushless motor for mini-Z...i think it would be fun and fast for it...

yea~ i like tiny cars, i saw a vid on an US forum, someone installed a mamba with 11.1v lipo on his Xmod (gen1), crazy~

mamba on xmods? That's crazy man.....I think it can't so easy to control...even i put it on my M18 with 6 cells 1100Mah....it's run like hell....

but the mambas are a little under torque for 1:18 big foots
need slightly bigger BLs

i burnt a mamba before on the miniquake, i was running the car in grass, with a 2cell lipo, all of a sudden the car just stops, smoke came from the motor and everything grew freakin hot.

i think it's due to the motor working too hard -___-"

maybe.....but I heard my friend told me that the first generation of mamba ESC have problem....I don't know what the problem...you bought that mamba package got include what inside the box....Like my one is newest mamba package...inside just have ESC and motor...

My friend that one,inside the box got include two or more dean connector...that package ESC have problem....need send back to factory to upgrade the software.

well, it came with the esc, motor, and two screws, that's all.

i sent it back to BPP and they sent me a new set.

Fustion dou hai ga mei ?looks like a 1/12 motor ..wor ..i own two..Big block and speed 300.. both of them are nice.

LRP Fusion is 540 size motor for 1/10 or 1/12 scale .....but LRP come out new micro Fusion motor just for 1/18 car....
You can see properly that got write "micro" word on the motor can...

ALIGN BL motor for 1:18 off road cars
4050Kv, rpm is not very high, but super torquey, 430 size, the bigest thing that u can fit on 1:18's

motor has 4 versions, esc have 2 versions

esc with brake and reverse.

all BL esc are the same la ~ (except sensored ones)
but all 1:18 are non-sensored

don't ask me what a sensored BL system is , coz i dunno

HK's ALIGN dealer is WaiGo Hobby
ALIGN is a famous brand for Helis, but for cars.....this BL system is the only thing they have.

so u'd better order it directly from www.align.com.tw, haha ~

in HK, if u want to get align stuff, either u go to Wai Go, or find RC heli shops to help u order.
