Very good car! Its excellent that LOSI provides tools. But other imperial parts (bearings, screws, bolts etc) is not common in Hong Kong. (it took me 1 month to find an imperial wheel locknut in HK for my B4!)

I normally play in China, but if there are race in HK, I will for sure bring it back to race!
I have got a GRP for the 8T 2.0, havn't try it yet, but I have a race in Shanghai this weekend, will report back how's everything with bothe the truggy and the engine.

According to the web site:

When entering a corner off the throttle, the SmartDiff automatically opens, allowing the gears to rotate freely for improved off-power steering precision. When power is applied, the SmartDiff's adjustable ramp plates lock on to the gear shafts for increased acceleration out of corners.

Had my race today in Shanghai, it was freaking amazing! Although very little people play truggy today, but most important that I was able to post fastest lap time about 0.8 sec faster then the TQ Buggy, and for qualify, I was one lap faster then the TQ Buggy, which ofcause make me the TQ for the truggy class, and mind you, this is a track with a 60m stright...

The final is even better, we are running a 30 minutes final, at around 25 minutes time, I had a crash with a fellow racer, strip the servo horn on the steering (infact it just jump one teeth on the plastic), I was able to come down from the driver stand, fix the servo horn, then went back to race and still won by a 4 laps margin....

Posted the fastest out right lap time today, without even breaking any parts... This 8ight T 2.0 is simply amazing and highly recommend to anyone!

Oh one more thing, I am using a .21 GRP, not a .28... and I have all the power I am asking for to clear those jumps, again, highly recommend...

I did not took any photo this time, but someone did, I will try to grab some and post it here.

Regarding option parts:
1) Steering servo metal horn.
2) Steering servo saver metal upper
3) Make sure you change the spring on the servo saver back to the 1.0 version, the 2.0 is way too hard.
These are all essential.

Also make sure you check the 油壓腳, all 4 of mine are bad due to the fact that when they are building them in the factory, the rotary tools they use must be too fast, and it melted the thread on the 油壓腳. I need to change them all.

Yes! It's my 2.0. The track in Shanghai is quite big with a 60-70m stright...But the 2.0 are so so nice to drive..

Build it up quickly la, you will enjoy it!

We are looking at early March for the in-door track to open. Right now the track is squeeze and flatten already, wait till I go back from Shanghai, then we will start building all the jump and commence testing.

It was a great race and I am glad to let the brothers know, I have won the Truggy A-main with the 8T 2.0. Using the smart diff for the front, the car had simply amazing steering. Everything work out according to plan and the GRP is running awesome too!

The Losi 8T 2.0 in this race are TQ, A1 and A2..simply dominated. If not becasue of our TQ winner, Mr.Boy had a servo faliure in the last two minutes, Losi would have won TQ, A1, A2 and A3...

Anyway, a very good race... I will try to post more photos later.

We have test tyres for 4WD, but 2WD still did not found the right tyres yet. I have bought alot of tyres today to bring it back to China on Tuesday to test, hopfully will be able to found the right tyres for it.
