Both you and Henry made a sensible guess. Tamiay re-releases the Hotshot then Boomerang, and Thunder shot then Thnder Dragon. The next re-release item might belong to these 2 series.

I don't think Tamiya will release the "Rothman" pattern anymore.........coz' the licence fee is so high.......

我痛恨復刻,只會打亂絕版車行情以及該車在車有心目中的地位,試想田宮若會完整復刻山豬時,大家何必花4~5千港幣買首版品?絕版品之所以有價值便在於絕版,她是一個年代的見證,所以彌足珍貴,田宮紅頭貨車頭因為銷售量好年年都生產,她能給你特殊年份上的回憶嗎?答案是不行的.

同意! 但個人亦認為復刻品係要黎玩,首版品係要黎珍藏.復刻品絕對取代不了首版品的地位.

No comment on your statment. Just share what I think and no intention to start any arguments.

As far as I know, the Vision of Tamiya is like Disney, kind of making you childhood dream comes true etc. So, based on this direction, Tamiya will definitly re-release the old famous stuff. Of course, the most important thing is making money. Re-releasing is a cash cow. No research and promotion cost. The profit margin is hugh.....

個人覺得能真正給與自己特殊年份上的回憶就只有當年自己一手買回來的車.. 有自己撞的地方.有自己油的車殼. 用很多錢買回來的.其實也只是別人的回憶.
買復刻版.你會回想自己小時候入去店子好開心買盒新車番來.砌. 自己噴殼..一手一腳. 相信買二手車比唔到.
個人想法.分享下而已.
