標題: 請問new Engine RUN IN method
just buy a OS VZB vspec Engine ,
1)how can I know the engine is fully run in?
2) any method to test the engine is already run in or not?
3) Can I just exam it by heard the sound or measure the temp after the full thortle ?

When the Engine is still hot, best to test right after you shut the engine, Turn the Flyhwheel with your thumb. If you can push through the TDC with little force , than it means been fully run in. This require experiement.
If the engine is cold and testing is meaningless especailly with all the newer design engines which most have very tight piston taper angle.

Also you can look at inside of the sleeve , the chrome part, if you see a very clear "ring" around the Top that means your engine have been fully run in and done well. If you dont see a clear ring or the line are very broken, thats means it is not run in or been badly run in.

A good Run-in engine always have a very stable idle.
You cannot tell by Temp.
