yes, the main different is the rear pod. X have a piece of carbon fiber to connect the rear pod together. the XL only connect to one side of the rear pod so you have more space for brushless motor. haha, all 1/12 look same anyway. But the rear end of the Top look very nice and clever for the ride height adjustment. And the rear pod is so open very easy to mount brushless motor. the Yokomo look different and run very nice. But for lazy guy like me there are so much things you can adjust on it.......
