No a good idea, I did something like this in the front end of a 1/12 4wd (kawada rx430 wolf) before, the problem is that, in one collision the front end will be totally out of shape

agree !!........ the "T-connection bar" will be bent even after a small bump......

This car will do better if he use two shocks parallel the long axis of the car at the front.
