這系列以早期黑豹、黑豹XL等較出名，而這時代的飛點主要是模仿改良法國洋基公司產品，其間連法國洋基1/8 FF 2WD及1:10 E.P. OFF ROAD也有模仿改良生產。在日本是ODM給令一公司改良出售。較真正完全自己設計要去到上世紀末九十年代初中時的PROBE車系開始。
